What is Scrip? How does it raise money?
Scrip is similar to gift certificates. You trade cash for an equal amount of scrip and then use it like real money in the form of a debit card. Retailers then give a percentage of the amount you spend with them to the school fund.
Scrip is a very convenient way to contribute to the school fund without affecting family finances. Think of it – you can support Christian education through everyday spending.
Over time your purchases through scrip will add up and that means the benefit to the school will add up as well.
